Our annual retreat date has changed due to unexpected complications. Our retreat will be held Tuesday, October 22nd, from 4-8 pm.
LOCATION: Carlisle Classic Homes (7353 15th Ave NW, Seattle 98117).
INFO: Join us in person for a fun potluck dinner (bring a good dish) & some good in person connections. If you can’t make it in person, you can also participate online via zoom (Register on Eventbrite). This is a fun event where we will plan the Guild’s educations sessions for the next year. Besides a potluck dish, bring along your ideas for our 2025 monthly educational sessions. Looking forward to seeing you there!
2024 NW Green Building Slam
10 SPEAKERS, 10 MINUTES, 10 SLIDES
That’s all there is to it: the Green Building Slam. A simple idea, started years ago, has transformed into one of the most fun and inspirational green building events of the year. Learn about 10 innovative, sustainable, high-performance “green” buildings that push the envelope in our built environment. Projects range from residential to multi-family to mixed use developments in the Pacific NW.
Each of our juried 10 presenters will have just 10 minutes to show us 10 slides of their exciting project as they explain what they learned, what they would do differently, and any other sustainable contributions that their project has made to our local community. Each presenter has been trained by a speech coach and is excited to share their project with the masses.
Our audience typically attracts architects, builders, homeowners, energy efficiency experts, real estate professionals, interior designers and fabulous, eco-conscious people like you.

The Director of Housing oversees all aspects of Habitat’s land acquisition, site development, home construction, and home repair activities. This position’s core priorities are to develop creative strategies to acquire, finance, design, and build high-quality, efficient, affordable homes while ensuring the affiliate has a consistent and sustainable multi-year home construction pipeline.
